Everyone is your audience [thought 7]

Hang on, didn’t the previous blog thought state the opposite? Yup!

But here’s the thing – your brand is a series of individual conversations with everyone.

Not just your target audience, but anyone who looks at your brand.

Look at ways you can communicate across a range of groups and sectors.

Netlix for example is not a niche brand.

It’s a brand for everyone, but in a stacked, cumulative sort of way.

It’s the brand for comic geeks (Marvel cooperation),

for the highly educated (House of Cards),

for women (Orange is the New Black),

for teenage girls (Gossip Girl),

for kids (Puss in Boots),

...

Added up it’s a brand for everyone.

We created [NOFILTER] to help brands show their true character in this fantastic new digital world. And we created a book with our point of view in 19 thoughts on how to do just that. This is the seventh one. In the oncoming months we will publish the others one by one.
